Ron Wright is a Senior Lecturer in sound for Film and Media Production at Sheffield Hallam University. His practice includes sound design for film, gallery and live performance as well as his own short films.

 

Ron's interests include exploring notions of space and place through the psycho-spatial language of sound and image.

His work with the walking group expands his ongoing SonUrban project which mixes sound, rhythm and images from field trips In Europe and England to present short decontextualized films that consider the activity, and emotional resonance of the natural and urban environment.
