Walks - 2014
Oakerthorpe Manner Residental
8/7/14 - 10/07/14
The first Walking Group residential was held at Oakerthorpe Manor, South Wingfield, Derbyshire.
We stayed for two nights, and undertook a night walk on the 8th and a walk from High Peak Junction to Black Rocks, Cromford on the 9th July.
It was whilst on this residential that the research focus of the group was defined and future walks and activities were planned.
Below are some comments from the trip:
“The residential gave me the opportunity to interact with my peers in a way that the day to day job just doesn’t allow and gave me a constructive starting point for my own practice” DAVID WILSON – Games
“The residential has massively helped me to calibrate myself within what I want to research through it's non committal approach and room to breathe regarding discussion on the subject.” MELVYN TERNAN - Animation
